Funeral services for Richard Allen Dawson will be conducted at 10 a.m.
Friday, from the Martin Funeral Home Chapel of Elk City.  Interment will
follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Elk City, Beckham County, Oklahoma under
the direction of the Martin Funeral Home of Elk City.
 Richard Allen Dawson was born September 21, 1954 at Albuquerque, New
Mexico to William Lee and Mary Kathryn Miller Dawson and died Sunday June
2, 2002 at the age of 47.
 He moved with his family to California where he spent most of formative
years.  His working career consisted of over the road trucking and
seismograph.  Rick was married to Robin Lee Berry on April 22, 2001 at
Montague, Texas.
 He was preceded in death by his parents and a half brother, Ron Dawson.
 Survivors include his wife, Robin Dawson and his unborn daughter, one
sister, Sandra Shackelford of Elk City and one half brother Terry Dawson
of San Diego, California.
