DENTON, VIRGIE
(3 Oct 1930, The Carter Express, Carter, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. W. B. Denton Dies Sunday Morning.
The many friends and relatives of Mrs. W. B. Denton, a former resident of
Carter, will be grieved to hear of her death, which occured (sic) Sunday
morning at five o'clock, at her home at Littlefield, Texas.
Mrs. Denton submitted to a serious operation for appendicitis on Thursday
morning.  Her condition was such that there was little hope for her
recovery.
She leaves to mourn her death her husband, Mr. W. B. Denton; seven sons,
Pinkney, Elvin, Harmon, Bart, Jesse Van, Raymond and Dueon (sic); four
daughters Geraldine, Virgie, Bessie and Mrs. Clarence Cain.  All of the
children live at Littlefield, Texas.
