DILLINDER, CLARINDA
(5 Sep 1929, Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, Roger Mills Co, OK):
Grandma Dillinder, mother of Mrs. W. R. Casady, died at the home of the
latter in this city last Wednesday evening about 7 o'clock, very suddenly.
Grandma Dillinder had made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Casady for about
seven years, during this time she had been feeble and in poor health.  A
little over a year ago she fell and since that time she has been an
invalid requiring constant attention.  During the past few weeks she had
grown weaker and more restless until the end came Wednesday.
There was nothing about her condition to cause one to think the end was so
near.  Mrs. Casady had just assisted Grandma back into bed when she passed
from life without a struggle.
Grandma Dillinder was 84 years of age and the widow of a deceased
Confederate veteran.  She resided at Mineral Wells, Texas, for many years
before coming to Cheyenne where she has many relatives and friends who
will mourn her loss.
The body was shipped to Mineral Wells, Texas, where it will be laid to
rest beside her husband.  Those who will attend the funeral from here are
Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Casady, D. D. Casady, Jim Casady and Mrs. Jim Perkins
of Canadian, Texas.
