"Buck" Creach Auditorium in Hammon. Rev. Bart Montgomery will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home. Mr. Driver was born on July 25, 1914 in Olustee, and died early Thursday January 14, 1988 at his home in Hammon. He was 73. Mr. Driver moved with his family from Olustee to Wellington where they lived for a short time and they also lived in Stephenville, Texas, before moving to western Oklahoma, settling in the Hammon community. Mr. Driver was married to Mary Ann Pinkston on September 17, 1939 in Hammon, and she survives him. He was employed by Roger Mills County for some 40 years, serving as foreman for the past 5 years. Besides his wife, Mary Ann, he is survived by 2 sons, Mahlon Driver of Sayre and Ronnie Driver of Elk City; 2 daughters, Paulette Walker and Rita Dodd, both of Hammon; 4 brothers, Clarence and J.W., both of Elk City, and Buddy and Cotton, both of Clinton; 5 sisters, Lula Trent and Katie Bright of Elk City, Odessa Drinnon of Hammon, Jessie Carter and Minnie Spitzer, both of Rockland, Calif.; Faye Graaybill of Canute; and by 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
