She had bee ill for many months during which time everything possible was done to stop the disease. Not only had local physicians done all in the pow- er for her , but she had made several trips to Oklahoma City to be treated by a specialist, but she continued to grow worse and her last few months were spent in the home of her son Charley, where he and his wife, assisted by other children and friends did all in their power to make her last days as free from pain and care as possible. Mrs. Dyer was a pioneer resi- dent of this country having come here more than 25 years ago with her husband, Uncle Dick Dyer, who then filed on a farm in the Poarch community, no owned by Mr. Golden. Mrs. Dyer was preceeded in death by her husband only a few months, Uncle Dick having died on the 26th of last September, and while she will be greatly missed by her children for whom she had son so much, death came as a relief to her from long hours of suffering and sor- row.
