EDWARDS, ARTLIASE
(18 Aug 1916, The Carter Express, Carter, Beckham Co, OK):
Death of Mrs. Edwards.
Mrs. Jim Edwards who resided several miles in the country southeast of
Carter died on Friday night of last week, after a suffering of many years
affliction.  For the past seven years she has not been able to walk, but
she had been sick for a much longer period.
She was buried in the Carter cemetery on Saturday, funeral services being
in charge of Rev. G. G. Perkins.
She leaves a family of seven children, six of whom are at home, and her
husband who is now in Arkansaw (sic), having been called there since the
death of his wife to see a daughter who is not expected to live.
