Mary Allee ENGLAND b.27 Nov 1867 d.11 Feb 1938 

Carter mourns the loss of one of it's most prominent citizens,Mrs.Mary
ENGLAND,who has been ill health for the past four years,Mrs.ENGLAND died
at her home in Carter at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon February 11.
She leaves to mourn her departure two children,Mr.Lee ENGLAND of Carter
and Mrs. Lennie LOOMUS of Chico,California.Six grand-children ,one
great-grandchild,three nieces,Mrs.Eula DOPHIDE,Mrs.Beulah SNOW,of
Denniston and Miss Lucille POOLE of Oklahoma City,three nephews,John Earl
and Darnell POOLE,and a host of other friends and relatives.
She was born November 27,1867 in California,Mo.,She professed religion
and joined the Methodist church in early life and lived a conscerated
christian life until death.She was loved by everyone who knew her and was
very kind and devoted mother.Her husband and an infant son preceded her
in death several years ago.
Services were conducted at the Methodist Church,with Rev.FRENCH of
Brinkman officiating.
Interment was made in the Carter cemetery Saturday afternoon.
