FELTON, LOUISA
(20 Feb 1914, The Carter Express, Carter, Beckham Co, OK):
Ye know not when ye will have to answer death's summons.
The above statement was brought to bear more forcibly on the minds and
hearts of the people of our neighborhood shortly after the close of day
Sunday, February 15th, by the almost instant death of Mrs. H. Felton.  To
the best of our understanding death came from excitement.
Mrs. Felton was loved by all who knew her as she had such a kind and
gentle disposition and always being so cheerful and light hearted that
those in her presence were made cheerful.  She loved to read and study the
teachings of the Bible.  This any one would soon learn by having been in
her presence a short time as she believed in putting anything righteous
into practice and talking or making as little show as possible.  She
leaves a husband and four sons to mourn her sudden death.
