Mrs.FINCH died after an attack of pneumonia Wednesday,after an illness of a week Mrs.FINCH was well known in this community as well as in this section of the state,having homesteaded with her husband on land near Grimes,Oklahoma.Mrs.FINCH was born in Carol county,MO.,in 1872.She became a member of the Episcopal Church when she was a young girl.She was married to A.L.FINCH in Missouri in 1895 and they came to Grimes,OK.,where they lived for five years.They later moved to Carter and were living here at the time of Mrs.FINCH'S death. Mrs.FINCH leaves of her immediate family her husband and eight children.They are:Harold FINCH,of Hobart,Ind.,Merdith FINCH,of Perryton,Texas,:Kermit FINCH,Mrs.Byron CLANCY;Mrs.E.E.TABOR;Mrs.Milton RIDLEY;and two younger children at home,a daughter,Miss Nina Belle FINCH,and a son,Elmer FINCH. She is also survived by her mother,Mrs.Lou GOULD,and her brothers and sisters,C.W.GOULD and Mrs.Jesse KELLY of Elk City;C.F.GOULD,of Frederick;O.J.GOULD of Kansas;and Mrs.E.E.AUDSLEY,of Kansas City,Mo;and Mrs.C.J.SIMMONS,of Denver Colordo.All of her immediate family attended the funeral with the exception of a sister,Mrs.SIMMONS,who was unable to be here on account of illness. *************** We wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to our friends for their many deeds of kindness during the illness and death of our loved one.
