FITZWILLIAM, TRESA
(1 Feb 1905, Roger Mills Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
In Memory.
Tresa Fitzwilliam, age 11 years.  Died September the 10th, 1904.  In her
home in Los Angeles, California.
As I sit by my window in my California home,
And look without for the one that has flown.
Sweet fragrance of roses entered my room,
I heard the birds chirping, bidding their mates come home.
From all those flowers so far and bright,
I gaze with despairing heart till tears arise and dim my sight.
I miss her morning welcome, good night kiss and prayer.
I miss I hunger for my darling, which no longing can compare.
Please God help me in my sorrow and permit my little child.
To light the way for mamma, that we may meet on high.
Have I not gained they grace oh God, have I come before Thee aright,
If so I beg the Lord to let my child hold out the heavenly light.
