   Mrs.J.R.FOX died at her home one mile west of Carter on Wednesday
   Feb.7th,after a long illness of cancer of the breast.She had been in
   bad health for about six years and was taken worse some two years
   ago,suffering a great deal from that time to the day she was called
   away.The remains were laid to rest in the Carter Cemetery Thursday
   afternoon;Elder HOCKADAY of Granite,having charge of the burial
   service.Mrs.FOX was 53 years of age.and leaves,besides her husband
   2-children of her own and 3 step-children 16 Feb.1917 The Carter

   friends and neighbors our sincere thanks for their noble assistance
   given during the long illness and death of our loved one
