   Saturday morning following the above date the death angel called at
   the home of Mr.and Mrs. J.W.FRANCIS,one block west of the HARTZOG
   home,and claimed for it's own,Mrs.J.W.FRANCIS,after a severe spell of
   Pneumonia.She leaves a husband and two boy children,Jewel and
   Leslie.ages 7 and 8.Mrs.FRANCIS was a member of the Methodist church
   in good standing,and all who knew her loved her.The funeral services
   were held at the Methodist church Sunday afternoon,conducted by her
   pastor Rev.Jesse CRUMPTON,after which the remains were laid to rest in
   the Carter cemetery.Peace to their ashes.**The Carter Express 3 Jan
