Mrs.FUCHS was born on Sept 3,1903 in Hope,Arkansas,and died early Tuesday morning in the local nursing home at the age of 84. In 1924,she was married to Rex H.STRINGER and they moved from Arkansas to Chillicothe,Texas.They moved to New Liberty in the early 1930's.She had lived in Sayre,Elk City,and Carter area for several years and in 1957 to Sweetwater. Mr.STRINGER preceded her in death in 1955.She later married Daniel FUCHS and they made their home in the Mayfield community.Mr.FUCHS preceded her in death on Feb.4,1986. Mrs.FUCHS had been living in the nursing home for the past seven years.She was a member of the First Baptist church of Carter. Survivors include 4 sons,Rex of Stillwater,L.E.(Dean) of Oklahoma City,Grady of Odessa,Texas,and Bob of Arlington,Texas.Also by 4 step-children,A.R.FUCHS of Hobart,Howard FUCHS of Sayre,Calvin FUCHS of Homestead,Fla.,and Lavena Rose of Sweetwater;also by two brothers,Roy MORRIS and Mack MORRIS of Nashville,Arkansas,and by 3 sisters,Myrtie KENNEDY of Lawton,Ruby HALLMAN of Texarkana,Ark.,and Edith ANDERSON of Nashville,Ark.,She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
