ADDIS, DRUSILLA
(9 Jan 1913, Elk City Journal, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. Drusilla Addis, wife of J. P. Addis, died at her home in Oklahoma 
City, January 1st 1913, after a lingering illness of several months
duration. Mr. and Mrs. Addis were residents of Elk City, a year ago when 
they moved to Oklahoma City.  Before coming to this county, they lived in 
Colorado, moving there eight years ago. Mrs. Addis was the mother of eight 
children, all living and all present at the funeral except two daughters.  
Those living in this part of the state are Roy, O. J., B. T., and A. A. 
Addis, one sister Mrs. Minnie Adams. The body was shipped here Friday 
morning.  Funeral services were held at the Adventist church in the 
afternoon conducted by Eld. N. R. Hickman, after which the body was laid 
to rest in the city cemetery.
