Died in Okmulgee Feb. 7th at home of her daughter, Mrs. T. A. Miller. Moved to Stockton, Cedar county, Mo., with her parents when she was nine years old and lived there most of her life, having moved to Oklahoma about 20 years ago. At the age of 27 she married Lewis R. Jernigan and to this union one son was born, Samuel P. Jernigan. Her husband died about two years after their marriage and the son at the age of 21. In the year 1882 she married Thomas Wilcoxen and to them was born one daughter, Mrs. T. A. Miller. Then being left a widow again she married Wm. Aldridge in 1893 and he died March 9, 1919 at Ada, Okla. At the time of his death they both made their home with their daughter, Mrs. T. A. Miller. She has one sister, Mrs. Eliza Gipson and one adopted sister, Mrs. Alice Brasher, both of Stockton, Mo., one daughter Mrs. T. A. Miller of Okmulgee, Okla., one granddaughter, Mrs. Mildred Pennington, and one great granddaughter, Forrest Irene Pennington of Holdenville, Okla. together with a host of nieces and nephews and friends to mourn our great loss. One niece, Mrs. Fannie Haley of Watts, Okla., arrived just 30 minutes after she had passed away. She was converted when just a young girl and always lived a good faithful christian, at time of her death being a member of the Christian church of Checota, Okla. For a number of years she had been unable to attend church as she was never able to go, just barely could get around in the house. She was so patient with her afflictions, never murmured or tired. So many beautiful floral offerings were proof of the great love her many friends had for her. The funeral was held at the home by pastor of the Christian Church, Rev. J. H. O. Smith and body laid to rest in Okmulgee cemetery.
