(31 Jul 1919, Thursday, Southwest Press, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
DORRIS ALLEN
Dorris, the eleven month old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Allen, died
this morning at six o'clock.  Funeral services will be conducted this
afternoon at 5 o'clock at the residence on North Main, by Rev. R. R.
Coffey.  Interment will be at Fairlawn cemetery.

FUNERAL OF BABY ALLEN.
The funeral of the little baby girl, Doris Allen, who died of cholera
infantum early Thursday morning, was held at the home of the parents, Mr.
and Mrs. A. D. (sic) Allen, late Thursday evening, Rev. Coffey
officiating, who spoke such sweet words of comfort.
A large number attended the funeral, and many beautiful flowers were sent
to the parents by sympathetic friends.  While they had been here but a
short time, they found the people ready to offer the deepest sympathy and
try in every way to appease their sorrow.  A number of neighbors and
friends attended the funeral, going to Fairlawn where the remains were
laid to rest.  The parents have the sympathy of all in this sad hour.
