ASHLEY RITES HERE TODAY.
Funeral services for P. J. Ashley, 72, old resident in this community,
were held at 2:30 this afternoon in the Grubitz and Son chapel with
Garland Wilson officiating.
Mr. Ashley died at his home eight miles northwest of the city Tuesday
after an illness of two months.  He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ashley,
and ten children, four sons and six daughters.
Interment was made in West Fairlawn Cemetery.  Grubitz and Son, funeral
directors were in charge of all arrangements.
