ASHLEY, THOMAS MORRISON
(9 May 1918, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
THOMAS M. ASHLEY
Thomas Morrison Ashley was born in Casey county, Kentucky, May 10, 1860. 
Died at his home in Capitol Hill, Oklahoma City, May 2, 1918.
He leaves a wife, daughter, mother, six brothers, three sisters, besides
other relatives and friends to mourn his death.
The deceased underwent a very serious operation over a year ago from which
he never fully recovered and which is believed to have caused his death.
Funeral services were held May 4th at 3 o'clock in the presence of
friends, at the Advent church.  The body was laid to rest in Fairlawn
cemetary (sic), Oklahoma City, by the side of his son who died six years
ago.
