While working on the Katy bridge between Trail and Camargo on Tuesday evening about nine o'clock Elige Atchison, 33 years old, fell from the bridge into the water below, which was about fifteen feet deep and was drowned. His body was brought to Elk City where Grubitz & Son prepared it for shipment to his home at Haskell, Texas. A friend from that place was working with him and accompanied the body to Haskell. The deceased leaves a wife and one child.
