(12 Aug 1921, Elk City Press, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
MRS. J. B. AUSTIN.
The death of Mrs. Naomi Austin occurred at Sandstone August 4.  Deceased
was the wife of J. B. Austin, and the daughter of I. H. Thomas.  She
leaves beside these, four small children.  Mrs. Austin had grown from
girlhood to womanhood on Sandstone, and was well known and beloved by all,
as was shown by the many friends who attended the funeral, and also by the
many beautiful flowers.
She was stricken suddenly and died in less than twelve hours; was only
twenty-five years of age.  Burial was in Hammon cemetery.
