AUXIER, HARRIETT
(13 Aug 1930, Wednesday, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Funeral services for Mrs. Harriett Auxier, 89, mother of Mrs. M. W. Blair
and Mrs. J. M. Hibbitts of this community, were held at ten o'clock this
morning in the Grubitz and Son Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. A. S. Kattner,
pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal Church read the final rites.
Mrs. Auxier has been in ill health for the past eleven months and has been
confined to her bed the greater part of the time.  She came to live with
her daughter, Mrs. Blair, from West Prestonburg, Ky., seven years ago.
Mrs. Auxier was born in Virginia, January 16, 1841.  Interment was made in
the Fairlawn Cemetery.  Killough-Hullum Funeral Directors were in charge
of arrangements.
