BABER, WALTER DRAYTON
(10 Nov 1927, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
WALTER DRAYTON BABER, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Baber, was born April 29,
1927, at Glendale, California, and died October 25, 1927, at Los Angeles,
California after an illness of three weeks.  All that loving hands and
skilled physicians could do, was rendered him, but God saw fit to call him
home.  He was preceeded in death by an infant sister.  He leaves to mourn
his death his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Baber of Glendale,
California, two grandmothers, Mrs. Lucy Baber, Elk City, Oklahoma, and
Mrs. Martha Brewer, Woodward, Oklahoma.  One uncle, W. F. Baber, Elk City,
Oklahoma, and three aunts, Mrs. Kate Burnsed, Elk City, Mrs. Rosa Young,
Bristow, Okla., and Mrs. Eula Stewart, Woodward, Okla.
Funeral services were held Sunday, October 30, 1927, at the home of W. F.
Baber of this city, conducted by the pastor of the First Christian Church,
buried in Fairlawn Cemetery.
