MAMIE BAILEY Mrs. Mamie Bailey daughter of Mr. and Mrs. I. S. Crosby died April 13th at Oklahoma City. The funeral was held Monday afternoon at Street and Drapers chapel, Rev. Renfrow in charge. Interment made at Rosehill cemetery, Oklahoma City. She was aged 32 years, 7 months and 6 days. On September 10, 1910, she was married to A. H. Bailey. Among those attending the funeral were her parents, her sisters, Mrs. Lila Huddleston, Ranger, Texas, Mrs. Ed Harris, Erick, Mrs. Juanita Beck and husband, Percy D. Beck of Greenville, Mo., her brother, Geo. Crosby and wife of Forgan. Another brother Edward lives in Kansas City, also Tom of Eastern Oklahoma and Frank of Elk City were unable to be present. Mrs. Bailey was born in St. Petersburg, Ill., August 30, 1890. She became a member of the Methodist church at Petersburg, and was a good worker in same. Her mother is a member of the First M. E. Church of Elk City and the members of the Aid Society sent some flowers to her at Oklahoma City with "love and sympathy." Mrs. Bailey had visited in Elk City a number of times and had many friends here. The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of all in their sorrow. A nephew, Billie Crosby and niece Luvada Huddleston, both of Elk City also attended the funeral.
