Mrs. Walter Bales died suddenly of heart failure early Monday morning. Mrs. Bales had been married twice, she has three children by her first husband Harvey Conrad of Seattle, Washington, Ed Conrad of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Mrs. Frank Rehorn of Fresno, California. Mr. and Mrs. Bales have four children, one son and three daughters Robert, Misses Maud, Mattie and Nell who are well known here. Funeral services were conducted at the house Tuesday afternoon conducted by Rev. J. B. Conley after which the remains were laid to rest in the city cemetery. Mrs. Bales was a member of the Christian church. Mrs. Bales was a member of the Christian church for many years, she is survived by her aged husband, a son near Seattle, Washington, a daughter at Fresno, California and Misses Mattie, Maud, Nellie and a younger son at home, to whom the sympathy of a larger circle of friends is sincerely extended. We extend sympathy to the bereaved.
