BALLARD, MALE (JOHN W.)
(11 Feb 1921, Friday, Elk City Press, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
L. A. Ballard received a message Wednesday morning that his son had died
in Tucumcari, New Mexico.  He and his brother, J. W., left Wednesday for
Forgan and will take a car and drive to Liberal Kansas and meet the
funeral party.  They will take the corpse to their old home at Richmond
Kentucky.  His son was a strong young man when he went into the war and
contracted tuberculosis.
