BALLENGER, CLARENCE ESTEL
(6 Jan 1909, Elk City Record, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Clarence Estel Ballenger, born September 19, 1898, died December 28, 1908,
age 10 years, 3 months and 9 days.
Estel was the little son of Mrs. Lena Ballenger.  He passed away after a
lingering illness of several weeks.  He was ill with remittant fever and
suffered greatly.
Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church in this city Thursday
morning conducted by Elder A. M. Morris of Granite, assisted by Elder
David Utt of this City, after which the body was taken to the Pixley
Cemetery ten miles northeast, for burial.  (Note: Pixley/Thompson
