BARNETT, ALLIE RAY
(25 Nov 1929, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
BARNETT RITES ARE READ TODAY.
Funeral services for Allie Ray Barnett, 17, were held this afternoon at
3:30 o'clock in the Fairlawn cemetery, with the Rev. A. S. Kattner, pastor
of the First M. E. church, presiding.
Allie Ray Barnett was born in Kossie, Texas, March 9, 1912, and lived
there until recently when he moved with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. J.
Barnett, to a farm near Carter.
He died Sunday, November 24, at the home of his parents after an illness
of two weeks.
Members of the immediate family surviving Mr. Barnett are:  his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Barnett, one sister and two brothers.
Interment was made in Fairlawn cemetery.  Gentry-Killough, funeral
directors, were in charge of arrangements.
