BAUMAN, DELILAH
(16 May 1929, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. Delilah Bauman was born in Harrison county, Missouri, on March 18,
1841.  She was married in 1860 to Thomas Bauman.  To this union were born
eight children, three of these preceeding her in death.
Those left to mourn her loss are W. T., M. E., and O.A. Bauman and Mrs.
Sam Maddox all of Cheyenne and another daughter, Mrs. N. A. Harmon of
Dustin, Oklahoma.
She passed away April 30, 1929 at Cheyenne.  The funeral was held in the
M. E. Church at Cheyenne May 2, with the pastor of the M. E. Church of
Cheyenne officiating at the service.
Mrs. Bauman professed Christianity at an early age and joined the M. E.
Church, South.  In the last few years she united with the Christian
church.  Interment was made in the Cheyenne cemetery.
Mrs. Bauman is the grandmother of Mrs. C. E. Watkins of Elk City.
