BAXTER, ELLA THOMAS EDEN
(23 Dec 1926, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
ELLA THOMAS EDEN BAXTER.  Mrs. Ella Thomas Eden Baxter was born July 14,
1907, eight miles southeast of Elk City, Oklahoma.  She was married to
William Baxter February 27, 1926.  To this union was born a son Billy
Dean.  She passed away December 19, 1926, age 19 years, 5 months and 4
days.  She was laid to rest at the Grandview Cemetery December 20, 1926. 
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. C. H. Lemmex of Elk City.  She
leaves to mourn her loss, a husband, William Baxter, a sister Eula Eden of
Elk City and infant son Billy Dean, and a host of friends.
Mrs. Baxter was the younger of two children born into the Eden family. 
Eula Eden, an employ (sic) of the First National Bank, is the other child.
 These two sisters, because of circumstances, were very close companions. 
The fact that they were orphans drew them closer together.  They became
christians on the same occasion.  Each lived for the happiness of the
other.  Mrs. Baxter possessed a sweet disposition, made friends easily,
and was admired by all who knew her.  She will be missed by her sister,
her husband and her many friends.
