(31 May 1928, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Youth Dies On Way to Mexico.
Otha Best, age 25 years, of Cordell, died Thursday afternoon at 2:30 while
enroute from Cordell to Sayre over Highway 41, on the way to New Mexico,
at which place he was to stay in the interest of his health.
An Ambulance from Litterall-Johnson Co., with Lonnie Moore in charge was
called from Sayre and the body taken to Cordell where interment was made.
Otha was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Best of Cordell.  They are
prominent people in that city and have lived there for a number of years. 
Mr. Best is in the cafe business.
For sometime they had done everything possible for the health of their son
and at the time of his death he was being transported on a truck with a
bed prepared for his comfort.
