MRS. H. S. BILDERBACK
Mrs. H. S. Bilderback, who has been seriously ill for more than three
months, passed away last Sunday morning at the family residence on West
Third Street.  Besides the family at home there were present a son,
Chester C. Bilderback of Colorado Springs, Colo, and his family; a sister,
Miss Lucy Pogue of Hale Center, Texas; and another sister, Mrs. E. C.
Orbison and her family of Olustee, Okla.
Mrs. Bilderback was a member of the First Christian Church and a most
loyal and efficient worker in several of its departments.  She made a host
of friends in her less than two years residence in Elk City.  Her
disposition was kind and she ever lived to serve humanity; especially was
she interested in boys.  In her Bible school work she was able to
accomplish much good along this line.
The funeral was held from the First Christian Church on Monday morning at
ten o'clock, the local minister in charge.  The auditorium was beautifully
decorated with the many floral gifts from the family and friends.  Many
friends were present to pay their respect to one whom they honored.
