BLACKMORE, BILLIE DEAN
(11 Feb 1926, Elk City News Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
BILLIE DEAN BLACKMORE.
Billie Dean Blackmore, the nine months old baby of Mr. and Mrs. S. C.
Blackmore, died in Elk City, Feb. 3, at a local hospital with pneumonia.
Funeral services were held at the Christian Church Thursday, February 4,
1926.  Burial was made at the Fairlawn Cemetery.
Billie Dean Blackmore, the nine months old baby boy of Mr. and Mrs. S. C.
Blackmore, was buried from the First Christian Church last Thursday
afternoon, the pastor, Chas. H. Lemmex officiating.  There was an
unusually large crowd of sympathetic friends present to assist the family
in any way possible.  The floral offerings were many and beautiful. 
Billie Dean caught cold about Thanksgiving time and was seriously ill.  It
seemed that it was impossible for him to recover entirely so that when he
suffered an attack of pneumonia late in January he was not sufficiently
strong to withstand the ravages of the disease.  His parents brought him
to the hospital where every possible aid was given but to no avail.
