All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************ BONDS, CHARLEY (7 Feb 1918, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): DEATH OF CHARLIE BOND. Charlie Bond (sic), the fifteen year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Robt. Bond, died at the home of his sister at Elkhart, Kansas, on Friday and his body was brought here on Sunday. The funeral services were held in the afternoon at the home here, Rev. M. T. Allen officiating. Interment was made at the Berlin cemetery. The deceased had been sick a long time, having had typhoid fever last fall, from which he never fully recovered. His death was sudden from heart failure, as he was sitting up in a chair. He was one of fourteen children, ten of whom survive him. The sympathy of all is extended to the bereaved ones.
