(9 Apr 1915, Elk City News Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): OBITUARY. Eustes V. Bouldin was born in Cleveland, Ga., June 10th 1876, moved to Parker Co., Texas 1890. He attended school at the Parker Institute and taught school at various points in Texas. He was converted and united with the M. E. Church in early manhood. He attended the University of Oklahoma 1902-03 and the Southwest Normal at Weatherford. He taught school in Oklahoma and was interested in the Real Estate business in Elk City. He was married to Miss Bessie Dougherty at Weatherford in 1907. She departed 1908, leaving a baby boy. He was taken sick with tuberculosis three years ago and has been almost helpless for the past two years. He remained at Elk City until about March 10th when he was taken to Matador, Texas, remaining there about five days when he was removed to Roswell, N. M. He was at Roswell about 10 days when he died April 1st at 2 p.m. 1915. His last words were "I am dying." He was conscious to the last.
