Obituary: Elk City newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, Ok, 26 Sep 1929:
BOWERS, VERN OTOS
Vern Otos Bowers, 3 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. G. N. Bowers, passed away
Sept. 24, 1929.  Funeral services were held at the Fairlawn Cemetery
Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 4 p.m.  The Rev. Carl v. Covey of the First
Christian church officiating.  Interment in Fairlawn cemetery. 
Gentry-Killough in charge.
