About three weeks ago T. C. BOYDSTON a well known citizen who lived many years southwest of Elk City went to Mineral Wells, Texas, for the benefit of his health as he was suffering from Brights Disease. He contracted pneumonia soon afterward and died last Friday Nov. 29th. His body arrived in Elk City Saturday and funeral services were held at the home on Sunday by Rev. POSEY. Interment made at Belle View cemetery. We expect some one will furnish a suitable obituary. (Obituary Two) December 12, 1918 OBITUARY Thomas Calvin BOYDSTON was born in Hamilton county, Tenn. November 15, 1860. Married to Ada Leona GIDEON December 2nd, 1888, in Crawford county, Arkansas, died November 29th, 1918, age 58 years and 14 days. He is survived by the widow and five children: Mrs. A. N. SMITH of Elk City, William BOYDSTON of Carter, Calvin, Roy and Virgil BOYDSTON, who reside in the community, his father, William BOYDSTON of Pocanset, four brothers, John of Wichita, William of Maysville, George of Fort Cobb and Frank of Wanette and one sister, Mrs. R. P. WAYNE of Pocanset, Okla. Mr. BOYDSTON moved to this county December 21, 1901. He has always been very active in every movement for the upbuilding of both moral and civil life and while he never identified himself with any church, he was of the Baptist faith and lived a Christian life.
