BOYDSTON RITES HELD THURSDAY COUNTY PIONEER DIES SUDDENLY AT TULSA Funeral services for Mrs. Ada Leona Boydston, who died suddenly early Wednesday while visiting relatives at Tulsa, were to be held at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon (December 8, 1939) at the Boydston family home near Elk City, with Rev. W. L. FRENCH, pastor of the Carter Baptist church, officiating. Burial was to be in the Belleview cemetery. Mrs. Boydston had gone to Tulsa for a visit in the home of her brother, Sid GIDEON, when she died suddenly. She was a pioneer resident of Beckham county, having lived on a farm west of Elk City since 1901. Survivors include one daughter Mrs. A. N. SMITH of Sayre, and two sons Roy G. BOYDSTON of Sayre and Calvin J. BOYDSTON of Elk City. Two brothers and two sisters.
