Susie Vinson Bradshaw, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Vinson, was born October 14, 1893, at Troop, Texas, and died January 24, 1922, at the home of her parents on West Third street. On May 7, 1919, she was married to Tom Bradshaw. To this union, two sons were born, one being nineteen months old and the other five. She leaves to mourn her loss a father and mother and three brothers, and a host of friends. Susie, as we know her, was of a most lovable disposition. Everyone who knew her loved her. She had been in poor health for the past year and especially so the last few months. She had many sorrows but she bore her troubles and suffering so cheerfully and was most appreciative of the kind words and deeds from her friends. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Hamilton. He read 1 Cor. 35:36 and gave a very comforting talk. The music was furnished by Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Martin, Tom Hollis, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Vinson and Lee King. They sang "Go to Jesus with it all," As the Light of a Flower," and "Rock of Ages," which Mrs. Bradshaw tried to sing a few days before her death. She has gone where there will be no more pain and sorrow. May we all live to meet her over there in that beautiful home above. M. H.
