BRANTLEY, JOSEPH M. (or W.)
(14 Oct 1920, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
DEATH OF J. M. BRANTLEY.
J. M. Brantley, aged 83 years, died at the home of his grandson, L. I.
Davis of near Doxey, on Oct. 6.  Mr. Brantley had been an invalid for
nearly a year but was seriously ill of pneumonia only a few days until his
death.  He leaves to mourn his loss, a son, J. O. Brantley, a daughter,
Mrs. Mollie Davis, and grandchildren.
He was buried at the cemetery at Hammon, his former home.
