BRASHEAR, FEMALE
(9 Mar 1916, Thursday, Elk City Leader, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Dr. Brashear of the Methodist church received a message Saturday morning
announcing the death of his mother, which occurred at the home at
Russellville, Arkansas Friday morning.  While the message contained no
particulars, Dr. Brashear states that death must have followed a brief
illness as only a few days ago he had a letter stating that she was
getting along nicely.
Funeral services were held Sunday and Dr. and Mrs. Brashears (sic) could
not have reached there for them, and left Monday afternoon for the old
home where they will spend a few days with relatives.  The services at the
church will be conducted on Sunday by Dr. Malloy of Weatherford.
