BRINKLEY, VERDON SYLVESTER
(24 Oct 1929, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Funeral services were conducted in the Union cemetery for Verdon Sylvester
Brinkley, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Brinkley, by Rev. H. W.
Shirley, past of the First Baptist church here.
The child was only five months old.  It has been ill for several weeks
prior to its death.  Interment was made in the family lot beside a brother
who died two years ago at about the same age.
Gentry-Killough, funeral directors, were in charge.
