BRODRICK, ALLENA
(Elk City Daily News, Elk City, Beckham, Ok, Wed 29 Apr 1992)
AlLena Brodrick, 74, of Carter died Tuesday in Sayre Memorial Hospital. 
Graveside services will be at 2 pm Friday in Carter cemetery under
direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Sayre.  AlLena, daughter of
Fred and Vernie Brodrick, was born Nov 6, 1917 in Doxy (sic).  She spent
most of her time researching her family history.  She was a farmer at
heart.  She worked at a variety store for four years, grocery store for 17
years, before retiring from the Community Hospital staff in Elk City after
working there for 10 years.  After the death of her parents she moved to
Carter with her brother Harvey.  She was preceded in death by her parents
and one brother.  Survivors include: three sisters, Felcian Johnson,
Abernathy, Texas; Belva Rider, Springfield, Col., Ann Collins, Maryville,
Missouri; two brothers, Leon Brodrick, Ft. Morgan, Col.; and Troye
Brodrick, Weatherford.
