M. Brown who has been visiting and living with his son-in-law Mr. W. H. Hunter, was taken with pneumonia about two weeks ago and, despite careful nursing and all the attention of three of the best physicians of our city, he died this morning at 4:30. Mr. Brown was 68 years old, and so feeble that he could not withstand the hard attack of the severe form of the fever. He leaves three sons, one living here, one in Hot Springs and one in Amarillo. All of them will be in attendance at the burial, which will take place near Sayre. His sons and daughter have the sympathy of all the citizens of our city. We remember it is a debt we shall all pay sooner or later, so all ought to be prepared to meet it. As we understand, Mr. Brown was a good Christian.
