BURGESS, CARRIE B.
(31 Jan 1906, Roger Mills Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Death of Mrs. Burgess.  Through private correspondence we get the sad news
of the death of Mrs. S. P. Burgess, at Holdenville, I. T., on January 27. 
The family were preparing to return to this place and locate on their farm
east of town.
The body was taken to the old family home in Missouri for interment.  Mrs.
Burgess was well and favorably known to many of our people, whose sympathy
for the family is sincere, and feel that with them, they have sustained a
loss.
