BURGESS, ZILLAH
(21 Nov 1918, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
DEATH OF MISS ZILLA (sic) BURGESS.  Miss Zella Burgess recently died at
Paris, Mo., from pneumonia, following influenza.  She was the daughter of
Pleas Burgess, who formerly lived two miles east of Elk City, and will be
remembered by a number of Elk City people.  She was about twenty-five
years of age.  Her mother died about nine years ago, a year after leaving
Elk City.  Mr. Burgess remarried last year.
