BURR, ROGENE
(3 Nov 1927, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK)
In memory of little Rogene Burr (better known to the family as Babe). 
Little Rogene was born April 10, 1921, and departed this life September 4,
1927, age six years, four months and 19 days.  Little Rogene was afflicted
from birth.  She was a patient little sufferer.  Her parents and friends
did all that was humanly possible to relieve her suffering, but the burden
became too great for her and her parents to bear and God saw fit to heal
her affliction and take her home, where she would be happy.  She was the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Burr.  Funeral services were held Monday,
September 5, at the First Baptist Church, Rev. H. W. Shirley officiating. 
Interment at Fairlawn cemetery.  Gentry-Killough in charge.
