All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************ CAFFEY, PAULINE (2 Jan 1919, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): DEATH OF PAULINE CAFFEY News of the death of Miss Pauline Caffey of Strong city, who died Christmas day of pneumonia, following influenza, was received here with great sorrow by the many friends of the deceased and of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Caffey, who were former residents of Elk City. The Cheyenne Star speaks of her as her friends here would say, "Pauline was a lovable girl in the bloom of youth, always jolly and brought sunshine with her wherever she went. She was loved and respected by all and will be greatly missed by her friends as well as her home folks." Mr. and Mrs. Caffey have the heartfelt sympathy of the people of Elk city, as well as their large circle of friends in Beckham and Roger Mills counties.
