HUGH CAMPBELL CONDUCTED AT DELHI FEBRUARY 23. Succumbs At Home At Altus Saturday February 22; Survived By Husband And Eight Children. Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Maude Campbell, 49, wife of Hugh Campbell, formerly of Delhi, who died February 22 at her home at Altus, were conducted Sunday February 23, in the First Baptist church at Delhi. Rev. A. A. Miller of Altus conducted the services assisted by Rev. A. Washburn and Rev. C. C. Williamson of Delhi. Interment was made in the Delhi cemetery in charge of Fatheree funeral directors of Erick. Cora Maude McCubbin was born April 9, 1881 in Fannin county, Texas. She was converted into the Baptist church at 12 years of age and was a christian at death. She was married to Hugh Campbell November 11, 1896. To this union were born eight children, five boys and three girls. Besides the husband deceased is survived by the sons and daughters and one sister, Mrs. Sallie Mitchell of Delhi, and several grand children. Out of town relatives here to attend the funeral were: sons, G. R. Campbell of Wyoming; S. W. Campbell, and family of Cushing, Oklahoma and one daughter, Mrs. D. B.
