CAUGHRAN, LUTHER
(20 Oct 1909, Elk City Record, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
OBITUARY.  Bunkie Caughran, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mack Caughran, was born
Feb. 2, 1906 and died Oct. 11, 1909.  The little body was laid to rest in
the Ural cemetery the day following.  He was a frail little fellow having
been sick almost continuously since he was eight months old; yet he was
very bright and sweet tempered and the going out of the little life has
left a sad vacancy in the home which can never be filled.  The sorrowing
parents, sisters and brothers have the sympathy of all in their sad
bereavement.
Dearest Bunkie thou hast left us,
And thy loss we deeply feel;
But 'tis God who hath bereft us,
He can all our sorrows heal.
Calm on the bosom of thy God,
Dear Bunkie rest thee now,
E'en while with ours thy footsteps trod,
His seal is on thy brow.   A.M.G.
