CHAPMAN Funeral services for Pearl CHAPMAN will be conducted Wednesday at 10 a.m. from the Martin Funeral Home of Elk City with Rev. Andy TAYLOR officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home. Pearl was born June 30, 1910 in Elk City to Tom and Josephine (NEIMS) MONTGOMERY and died Sunday at the age of 89. She attended Colter school before her marriage to John C. CHAPMAN on September 17, 1927 in Elk City. They farmed and ranched in the Herring Community. She was a member of the Herring Home Demonstration Club. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents and twelve brothers and sisters. Survivors include three children, Betty PARKS and her husband, Jr. of Sayre, Joan WOOD and her husband, Louis of Rocky and Louis CHAPMAN and his wife, Marlene of Cheyenne; nine grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
